Very friendly and helpful staff in a clean Hotel. It was quiet and clean. I spent a hour in the hot tub and felt great. I'll definitely be back.

Rooms were comfortable, I was able to get a room with only a few days notice for right around $100. Considering that it was smack in the middle of summer season, I felt like it was a reasonable rate. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi located downstairs off of the lobby. We also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast, which actually had real food on it, unlike a lot of places that claim to but give you a bagel or a piece of toast. I had a Belgian waffle, that I prepared myself with the waffle iron and batter they had mixed and ready. I also had a cup of coffee and some bacon and sausage. They had lots of stuff set out for the kids as well. You have the option of eating there in the lobby or taking the food up to your room. Everything tasted good and there was staff nearby ensuring that everything was stocked and clean. The only thing I can say negative about my experience here, when we were checking out the desk staff was not very friendly and professional. Hence the 4 stars, instead of 5.
Good place close to the beach and many resturants. We stayed in a King suite for our anniversary. Its very nice this time of year at the beach. Only down fall was there was a greyhound event going on and there were allot of dogs in the building. And even though they advertise sound proofing the dogs and whirlpools could be heard through the walls.
The AmericInn in Rehoboth Beach allows pets and their upcharges for pet-cleaning fees is reasonable. I was nervous, this having been my first time staying at a hotel with my pets, but the front desk clerk made me feel at ease. They have a potty area outside for the dogs with trash can and bags provided. The free breakfast was great. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars was that the room seemed a bit "worn out" with frayed carpet and the stains in the bathroom. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay here!
