Get amazed with this place! Server was so experienced and knew everything about the menu!! Spend amazing time with friend, try amazing food! Prices is expensive! But you ave to try it!
Food was good, but portions were small and prices were a bit high even for sushi
Very disappointed. My green curry chicken was fine but the Sushi that was prepared for everyone else was dry and not prepared properly. Most of our family has traveled to the Orient and experienced fine Sushi and dishes. We should have know better and just stuck with entrees. I really felt for the waitress as she was really trying but the cook staff would not cooperate or get anything to our table in a timely manner. The only solution was one of the owners just stating "we will take the meals you are not happy with off of your bill." No sincere apology, offer to correct the meal and provide something else, just basically okay you have it off your bill and now you can leave was the subliminal feeling I had. We did tip our waitress fairly and the billing for 4 adults and two kids was well over $250.00 with tip. Never again and Rehobeth Beach deserves better.
Had another great dinner at the Cultured Pearl! It was a great break from all the boardwalk food we had been having. The rolls were inventive and fresh, the seating outside was beautiful, and the drinks well made. (The sake sangria was my favorite) The only reason I took a star away was because the food took a long time to come out (35min) and we had a squirmy one year old. If we had been adults only I would not have minded enjoying the scenery though.
The dumpling duo was delicious, 3 pork and 3 shrimp. We each had 2 sushi rolls. I had the Cultered Pearl Roll and the Dynamite lump. My fiancee had the firecracker and the Chesapeake. All were delicious. Kudos to our server Patrick for noticing right away that my roll was missing the lump crab that I hadn't noticed. Service was excellent!
