Joel in customer service is less than service oriented. I do not write bad reviews but this guy went out of his way to not be helpful. Amazing poor service!
If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do NOT use this rental company. And if you do, please be sure to closely monitor your credit card account for weeks after. This is the first google review I've ever left but Avis was an absolute nightmare.
I was told to fill the gas tank before I returned the vehicle, which I did. The gentleman who checked my car in even verified with me that the tank was full and noted it on my receipt. A few days later, I checked my credit card statement and found that I had been charged almost $30 for gas by Avis without any warning. Three phone calls and four emails later, I was finally refunded. Then, a few weeks later I checked again to find that I had been charged $25 for tolls. I know for a fact that I paid every toll myself in cash but I know I'll be jumping through hoops yet again to get my refund. Hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Quick and easy. I reserved online and car was ready to go when I got there. Both guys working there were very nice and I was out of there in 5 min.
Jim provided excellent customer service. I have had nothing but unprofessional with other car rentals in the Rehobeth beach area. Jim was so helpful. Cars are available. Will always use and recommend AVIS
We had a great experience Jim was very nice and helpful. I was a little nervous about using Avis because of all the bad reviews but I actually had a great experience. We even received a free car upgrade without even asking.
