Arrived early so seating was no problem. The food was phenomenal, service excellent. The decor and atmosphere was open, airy and relaxing. Cannot wait to visit Delaware again to try more selections on the menu. The shrimp and grits were 'to die for' also make sure to try the fried lobster and the gumbo. You won't regret it.
Great decor just like Lupo, which I only looked into. Our server Anna was great and knew the menu well. She was busy with other tables, but one of her colleagues came over and took our drink order and let us know she would be with us shortly. I had the crab cake sandwich and it was tasty and the house made chips and pickled vegetables were great too. Did not have the slaw, but was told it was good and there wasn't too much mayonnaise. Good selection of draft beers and wine.
We had a great experience here... stopping in on a whim. I was not thrilled to see so few non seafood options, while my wife was thrilled with the great selection. We were going to leave but our awesome server David was able to get something made special for me and it was awesome. He totally went above and beyond and it was great. I only gave 4 stars because the volume of the music was intolerably loud. I'm not opposed to music but we couldn't even talk to each other without screaming. Would definitely go back!!
Food was excellent. They seemed to be rushing us through the service, which they need to do when the place is crowded during the summer. But totally unnecessary when we were there.
Expensive, but worth it. Great food with generous portions and surprising dishes such as Lobster Reuben and shockingly good pickled vegetables (who knew?). Staff is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.
