A friend ordered beach themed cupcakes for a special event we were having and was assured they could make elegant, beach themed cupcakes. "We do that all the time." When she picked them up, she nearly cried when she saw them. Blue icing sloppily applied with a white chocolate shell slapped on top was what she received. None were anything close to what she had discussed when ordered. They looked like cupcakes made by a 10 year old. She got no apologies or explanation. It was so terribly disappointing as website shows such lovely baked goods. Don't believe everything you see and read.
You could really go crazy in here looking at the dessert case. They even have frozen Italian food you can take home.
This place used to be my favorite but their pastries are now too sweet in my opinion. A few years ago, they had a great balance between flavor and sweetness and that's gone. It is now just plain TOO sweet for me and I rarely go there anymore.
