Great area if you like collecting shells,other than that it's a "trashy"area if you want to find any type of coins.

Beautiful spot for quiet fishing, camping, relaxing fun!

The United States Army Corps of Engineers and State DNREC jointly operate a sand bypassing system which pumps sand from the south side to the north side of Indian River Inlet. This system extracts sand from the beach or near shore intertidal zone on the south side of the inlet and deposits the sand on the beach on the north side of the inlet

No coins found, but it is a nice location. More crowded than some of the other beaches and lots of surfers out in tbe water, but that added to the charm.

Very buggy and no good finds.
