When your surgeon tells you surgery is not the right course of action to resolve 3 degenerative discs, but the situation can be fixed - I'm all ears! Thus began my two year journey with FSHW that took a then 66 year old who could stand or walk for more than 10 minutes, to a 68 year old pain free guy feeling like 40. The FSHW approach is pure teamwork that made me a full participant - religiously doing my homework. I'm back to doing household chores and maintenance - only in a much smarter way - an more importantly fully participating in activities with my grandchildren. Dr. Bohls is my primary and I can say enough about her professionalism, clinical skills, and advice. Working on a truly magnificent exercise program in the gym with Jeanie helped me to develop the discipline to carry that program home. And, interaction with Dr. Delcampo both clinically and as a coach and adviser only reinforced my commitment to the FSHW program. To be successful and achieve the pain free status I have today, took a lot of hard work but more importantly a positive attitude, and nothing reinforced that positive attitude than the reception I received from the FSHW support staff every time (every time) I walked in the FSHW front door. Hey, I'm 6'2" tall and I can bend over, keep my legs straight and touch the floor - pain free. Who loves ya!!!
